31/7/03 - Warren Russell informed us that architect, Robert Briscoe, has been appointed to some of the buildings for the project. He suggested we call David Beuley for further information.

26/2/03
This afternoon we spoke with Site Project Manager, Warren Russell, from QM Properties Pty Ltd. He informed us a master plan has been completed and they are now involved with preliminary design and expects to appoint an architect soon. Blacklaw Civil Contractors have been selected to provide earthworks at the site.

Russell said that the design is evolving weekly and so as to be given serious consideration, suppliers need to forward product literature now. He said his company would be involved with the selection of inclusions. Their preferences would be forwarded to the successful architect when appointed. He requested information regarding:

Furniture
Berth Control Products for the Marina
Glulam: He is interested in knowing the extent of possible usage
Kiln-dry finger jointed timber (fascia or moldings)
Roofing: Metal
Steel Storage Solutions: filing cabinets, lockers, mobile storage, etc
Decorative Wood Paneling, coloured MDF, particleboard flooring
Food service equipment
Display counters
Commercial chillers and freezers
Heaters - rooms and floors
Recommendations Suppliers are advised to forward trade literature to Warren Russell now so as be considered for the above project. ProjectLink will endeavour to contact the successful architects in due course.
