Status: Constantly sourcing equipment; wishes to see what NZ companies have
on offer.

Eski Ice Pty Ltd. is a private company involved in the manufacturing and
marketing of ice for over 30 years. For most of this time they have
operated the only commercial ice plant in Tasmania, servicing such
industries as fishing, poultry and smallgoods. Natural spring water from
Tasmania`s Great Western Tiers is the source of both Diamond Ice and
Diamond Still Springwater. Eski Ice instigated the sales of domestic party
and picnic ice throughout some 300 outlets statewide by supplying their own
ice storage cabinets. Present capacity measures in excess of 40 tones per
day output, utilising modern computerised automatic ice making and
packaging equipment. They also manage their own public cold storage
facility.

Today we contacted the General Manager of Eski Ice, John Gall, who was
interested in our call. Gall said his company is constantly outlaying large
sums of money each week purchasing new equipment. He said he would be very
interested in seeing what is available from NZ companies in the way of the
following equipment:

* Compressors
* Refrigeration/ Cool Room Equipment
* Freezer Rooms
* SS Fabrication
* Bottling Machinery
* Packaging

As well as outlaying large sums of money for ongoing refrigeration
equipment, Gall said they are planning on sourcing some new packaging
technology, so he would be interested in speaking to NZ companies regarding
this.

Recommendations Interested NZ companies are advised to forward letters of introduction and capability material to Gall at the address details displayed. This should be followed up by a courtesy phone call over the coming weeks.
