In March we reported that Bega was proposing a $25 million upgrade of their
facilities, working in conjunction with NZ Dairy Board and Bonlac. Bonlac is
to shut down their Melbourne cheese packaging plant and will concentrate all
cheese packaging and cutting operations to the Bega factory.

Michael Jones confirmed with us today that the project has received
unanimous endorsement from Bega shareholders and is proceeding swiftly.
Already a number of NZ companies have been approached and orders have been approached and orders have been
placed with them. Jones said he has ordered at least $10 million worth of
equipment out of NZ.

Jones suggested that any NZ companies who havent as yet established contact
with him do so by means of a letter of introduction and capability material.
He said he would prefer initial contact with him to be by mail, or if
preferred, email. He can be currently reached at his new email address:
michaelj@begacheese.com.au
