Status: Should be sourcing packaging system by end of year; Bag House
project to commence over next 12 months.

Today we recontacted Andrew Sorenson, the Engineering Director at PQ
Chemicals. Sorenson said that their plans for purchasing a packaging system
are still on the go. A consultant has recently completed a Time & Motion
Study on their existing system to determine what configuration should be
adapted for the design of their new equipment. Further details regarding
the equipment are as follows:

* Packaging System - for powders; to fill 200 litre boxes (approx. 600
cubic mm)

Sorenson said they are also planning the following order over the coming 12
months:

* Bag House (estimated cost: $1 million) - including filters, controls,
rollers, conveyors etc.

Regarding the Packaging System, Sorenson said they will be purchasing and
installing the equipment over two calendar years, hopefully commencing
proceedings by the end of this year.
